Since I’ve been on a lot of either long or short trips during the past 3 years, I decided to start a little travel-diary-project.
It will be a collection of small fanzines (b&w copy, 8pages, A4), each one dedicated to a city I’ve been to.
The first one is about Naples (Italy), followed by Heidelberg (Germany) and a future one about Strasbourg (France).
Each fanzine is super-limited and will be available as single or collection.
This is a preview (not for sale yet).

On february 26 starts an exhibition named “Zukunft leben – Die demografische Chance” about the demographic changes in germany at the Museum für Naturkunde in Berlin. I was asked to take part with a comic/illustration about “age”.
The exhibition will be traveling around several cities in Germany, you can check for the dates and more information here
Pictures of my exhibition during the BILBOLBul-Festival in Bologna, Italy.
Right after coming home from Angoulême I had to pack my bags again to set off to Bologna/Italy.
My visit in Bologna will be combined with a two-week residency, a project called “Comic Transfer“, which is organized and sponsored by the Goethe Institut.
This is great since it allows me to work intensively on the exhibition with a lot of time in advance and also to really experience the city and people.
I’ll be posting drawings, sketches and impressions of Bologna on THIS blog, so keep checking it out.
I still have two announce to new foreign publications of my books:
Brigitte was published right before the Festival of Angoulême, so I was very happy to present and sign my two books (Alien = “Petite Terrienne” was already translated and published by çà et là last year) to new french readers!
Alien was published last year by the wonderful Bologna-based publishing house Canicola.
The even made a book trailer and invited me to have en exhibition on the next issue of the Comicfestival
BILBOLBul in Bologna!
We just spent some exciting and successful days in Angoulême,
were we had a table at the “Espace BD Alternative”.
As every year it’s the best occasion to meet comic-loving and -making people
and to spend the little money on new beautiful books.
See you again next year!
Right now I’m in the beautiful city of Salvador da Bahia.
I was invited by the Goethe Institut within an exchange-project
for brazilian and german comic artists.
On this blog you can follow my experiences and diaries of my very colorful visit and read further information about the project: Osmose Blog
